What is Sculptra®?
Sculptra® is an injectable treatment composed of poly-L-lactic acid. This main ingredient is a collagen stimulator, which encourages the body to produce more collagen as the formula is broken down over time. As new collagen is produced, the body will use it to lift the skin and restore lost volume. For these reasons, Sculptra® is an excellent solution for wrinkles, lines, and folds in the face. At Goodman Dermatology, we also offer Sculptra® butt injections as a non-surgical butt augmentation technique. This treatment is also known as the Sculptra® butt lift, and uses the collagen-stimulating benefits of Sculptra® to enhance the lift of the buttocks. In addition to buttocks enhancements, we may recommend Sculptra® for the treatment of:

- Chin wrinkles

How Much Does Sculptra® Cost?
The cost of your Sculptra® injections, as well as the Sculptra® butt lift, can vary. At Goodman Dermatology, we understand that each patient is entirely unique. With different skin types, cosmetic features and treatment needs, each patient deserves a personalized treatment that is designed with them in mind. For these reasons, we are not able to provide an exact cost for treatment until we have the opportunity to assess your treatment goals and develop a personalized treatment plan.
During your consultation, we will discuss your needs and treatment goals in order to determine this treatment plan and inform you of the Sculptra® facial injections and Sculptra® injections buttocks price. What Can I Expect During the Sculptra® Treatment?
As an injectable treatment, Sculptra® is comfortably performed in-office. No anesthesia is required, but we may administer a topical anesthetic to minimize any discomfort that may otherwise arise from the injection process. Then, a number of injections will be delivered into and around the desired treatment area.
The exact number and location of these injections will depend on your treatment goals. But, thanks to the topical numbing solution, these injections are generally well-tolerated by patients. After the injections are performed, the treatment is complete. In all, a Sculptra® treatment session is typically completed in about 30 minutes.
Are There Any Side Effects After Sculptra® Injections?
After Sculptra® injections, you may experience bruising, soreness, redness, or sensitivity in the treatment area. However, these side effects typically resolve within a few days of treatment. In most cases, they will not affect your ability to perform your usual activities.
Is There Any Downtime Required After Sculptra®?
There is no downtime or recovery period necessary after Sculptra® injections. In fact, most patients choose to return to work and other normal activities immediately after their appointment.
What Kind of Results Can I Expect After Sculptra®?
Sculptra® is designed to produce gradual results over the course of a few years. For this reason, you may not notice results until a few months after your treatment. Your results will develop gradually, with most patients noticing initial improvements about two to three months after their first treatment session.
We often recommend a series of Sculptra® treatments, ranging from two to four treatment sessions, for optimal results. Patients who follow these recommendations notice continued improvements with each treatment, and enjoy results that last for two years or longer.
