VI Peel

Chemical Peels in Roswell, GAMaintaining the health and beauty of your skin can be frustrating. A history of acne can cause scarring. Heavy sun exposure can cause brown spots, freckles, and wrinkles. A VI PEEL can help to reverse many of these problems with significant improvement in the overall texture and tone of your skin.

The VI PEEL is one of the most popular peels at Goodman Dermatology located in Roswell, GA. The VI PEEL contains an interactive blend of effective ingredients suitable for all skin types. The peel provides dramatic results in less than a week. Enjoy radiant, younger looking skin with the VI PEEL. Goodman Dermatology recommends the VI PEEL if you have any of these skin conditions:

  • Hyper-pigmentation, including melasma
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Age spots
  • Acne or acne scars

The VI PEEL is a high-powered peel that combines acids Vitamin C and Retin A which together make for a gentler procedure that works well on all skin types. The VI PEEL will improve the tone, texture and clarity of the skin, reduce or eliminate age spots, freckles, and hyper-pigmentation, including melasma. It will soften lines and wrinkles, clear acne skin conditions, reduce or eliminate acne scars, and stimulate the production of collagen, for firmer, more youthful skin. VI PEEL also works well in conjunction with other skin rejuvenation treatments such as Fractional CO2 laser resurfacing. Many of the patients having injectables like Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Radiesse, Juvederm, and Restylane will have a VI PEEL at the same appointment achieving multiple benefits from one visit!

Chemical Peels in Roswell, GA

Ingredients in a VI Peel

The VI PEEL consists of a synergistic blend of five acids that no other peel offers:

  • TCA – Trichloracetic Acid for penetration, deep scar healing; stimulates collagen growth
  • Retin-A – an acid derived from vitamin A to combat wrinkles
  • Salicylic Acid – this beta hydroxy acid (BHA) is an exfoliant
  • Phenol – has antiseptic and anesthetic properties; aids in skin penetration
  • Vitamin C – ascorbic acid has antioxidant and mild exfoliation properties

The Precision Peel

The Precision Peel is made from the same synergistic blend of ingredients as the VI PEEL, but at a higher concentration, for a peel that is about 25% stronger than a VI PEEL. VI Precision Peel is an excellent addition for treating stubborn hyper pigmentation including melasma, actinic keratosis and age spots on hands, arms or chest. The Precision Peel is to be used in conjunction with the VI PEEL.

Contraindications

Those with allergies to any of the ingredients above and women who are pregnant or nursing should not undergo a VI PEEL.

How is the VI Peel Different From Other Peels?

Before the VI PEEL, the deeper the peel, the more painful, the more downtime, the better the results. The VI PEEL is the first “Next Generation Aesthetic”. It is painless, yet produces dramatic visible results in just days with little downtime. If you live in Alpharetta, Sandy Springs, Marietta / East Cobb, Johns Creek, Cumming or Roswell, you are just a short drive to Goodman Dermatology where you can begin receiving the benefits from a VI PEEL.
